Hi there! I’m Danielle—your future favorite second photographer! As a military veteran, I bring rock-solid professionalism, adaptability, and punctuality to every wedding. During my time in the Navy, I worked as a surgical tech, which might not seem directly related to photography—but hear me out. A great surgical tech anticipates a surgeon’s needs before they’re even verbalized and thrives under pressure. This intuition and ability to stay calm in high-stakes environments have translated seamlessly into my photography work, allowing me to support lead photographers effortlessly. I’ve been known to go through entire surgeries exchanging only a few words (though I love to chat!) because I was always one step ahead. Similarly, as a second photographer, I’m always ready to jump in, keep things running smoothly, and support you every step of the way.
When it comes to my shooting style, I love finding creative, alternate angles that add depth to a gallery. My go-to lens for this is my 85mm, which lets me capture unique perspectives from the sidelines without ever being in your way. If you catch me crouching behind a bush during portraits, don’t worry—I’m not hiding; I’m busy making magic happen! Additionally, I make it a priority to represent your brand well. I always ask to review previous galleries to ensure I can closely replicate your style in posing and shooting.
One of my favorite contributions as a second photographer is capturing behind-the-scenes moments. I know how much effort goes into being the lead, and I want to make sure you have those candid, in-action shots that can be so hard to get for yourself.
